Gabe founded Dalmath Associates in 1996 when he was asked to write a pictorial coffee table book on Rochester called The Image is Rochester.

Gabe served for more than four decades as a broadcast journalist, starting his career in Korea for Armed Force Radio during the Vietnam War, and later working in radio on the air and in mangement in New York City and Westchester County. During his almost 30-year tenure at WHEC-TV (10NBC) in Rochester, New York, he anchored the 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts for 25 years, longer than anyone else in the station's history. He also served as Producer, News Manager and morning show anchor for News 10 Today. Prior to joining 10NBC, Gabe held various management and on-air positions at radio stations in and around New York City. He was honored with numerous broadcasting industry and community service awards.

He was responsible for media relations, public affairs consulting, multimedia productions and business development. He also provided voice and on-camera services for institutional and commercial productions.

Gabe exhibited an unyielding dedication to improving the quality of life in our community through a myriad of civic activities. He assisted the United Way during its annual campaigns on many occasions, serving as emcee and helping to solicit donations. He also served as the Community Spokesperson for the Multiple Sclerosis Society Upstate NY Chapter (formerly Rochester Area Multiple Sclerosis – R.A.M.S.) and raised millions of dollars for the Muscular Dystrophy Association as the longest serving local host oin the nation, for 23 years, of the annual Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon.
